Dr. Benjamin Abraham is a researcher working in the field of digital media and games sustainability. His first book,  Digital Games After Climate Change is due to be published in 2021 by Palgrave.

He previously worked in the school of communication at the University of Technology, Sydney, having worked in higher education for ten years.

In 2009 he conducted a single-life “Permadeath” let’s play of the videogame Far Cry 2 (2008), documenting it in a 300+ page PDF, which can be found here.

He also founded and ran the website Critical Distance for its initial years, curating lists of excellent writing and criticism of videogames.
